Alexia Bedat
Alexia is a Partner at Klaris, a New York based law firm, where she leads the Podcasts & Audio team. Passionate about the audio industry, she works closely with founders, heads of audio, and producers, advising across both business and legal affairs.
Her work spans the full podcast lifecycle—from development and deal structuring to distribution, marketing, and rights clearance. She is familiar with what US buyers/commissioners look for and regularly advises clients on complex agreements and the protection of IP in a rapidly evolving landscape.
As a bi-national lawyer, she also advises non-US production companies on US-facing deals. Alexia is based in Europe and working towards being dual qualified (US and UK) by end of the year. She is particularly drawn to the collaborative spirit of the audio industry and is committed to supporting companies as they grow and scale.
