Allan Mustafa
A BAFTA winning actor/writer known for co-creating, writing and starring in People Just Do Nothing.
Allan plays ‘MC Grindah' in People Just Do Nothing (nominated Best TV Situation Comedy at the Writer's Guild Awards and Best Scripted Comedy at the 2016 BAFTAs; won Best Scripted Comedy at the 2017 BAFTAs, the Royal Television Society Awards and Best Television Series at the NME Awards).
He leads in Kurupt FM’s live show, which has toured festivals across Europe, including KOKO and Brixton Academy. They won ‘Garage Act of The Year’ at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in 2017.
Allan returned as 'MC Grindah' in the hugely successful feature film People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan. Allan and the rest of PJDN’s second studio album was also released alongside the film via Universal subsidiary Polydor Records.
Other TV credits include playing ‘Chaz’ in Dean Craig’s Netflix hit Love Wedding Repeat; co-creating and starring in the hit Channel 4 series The Curse with PJDN cast member Steve Stamp; and starring as Andy in BBC Three's new sitcom Peacock, written by Steve Stamp and Ben Murray.
In 2019, Kurupt FM announced a brand-new podcast with Audible, The Kurupt FM Podkast, which is now on its third series and has won twice for Best Comedy Podcast at the British Podcast Awards 2020 and 2021.
