Carrie Lieberman
Carrie Lieberman is the Chief Operating Officer for iHeartPodcasts where she manages the networks’ overall business and revenue operations, as well as the growth strategy of iHeartPodcasts content.
HeartPodcasts amasses more than 194 million downloads a month, making iHeart the No. 1 podcast publisher globally. In Lieberman’s time at iHeart and with her support and leadership, the podcast division has launched the Big Money Players slate with Will Ferrell, a Shondaland Audio slate with Shonda Rhimes, and co-production slates with Pushkin Industries, the NFL, NBA and Bloomberg. Additionally, she is responsible for overseeing the networks’ derivative adaptations. With a focus on bringing greater diversity into podcasting, in 2020 iHeart launched The Black Effect Network, the world’s largest podcast network dedicated to black voices, and later My Cultura, the fastest growing podcast network dedicated to Latinx voices.
Lieberman joined iHeartMedia in 2018 and oversees the iHeartPodcasts Operations team which is responsible for all talent relations, revenue processes and business development, including IP expansion into TV & Film.
Prior to joining iHeartMedia, Lieberman ran podcast operations for First Look Media, launching hit podcasts such as Missing Richard Simmons, and spent over a decade at both Viacom and NBCUniversal in Content Distribution.
In her spare time, Lieberman is a mom of two young kids; loves Pilates and is actively learning to play tennis.
