Dan Clarke
Dan Clarke is Commissioning Editor for Factual at BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds, where he commissions narrative, and runs Intrigue, Shadow World, and The History Podcast, named by the New Yorker magazine as one of the top ten podcasts in the world in 2025. He commissioned the hit podcasts Things Fell Apart, To Catch a King, and The Coming Storm. Recent series include Everything is Fake (and Nobody Cares), Impulsive, Anatomy of a Cancellation, and The House at Number 48.
Work that Dan has commissioned and executive produced in both audio and television has won dozens of awards, including a gold ARIA, multiple golds at the British Podcast Awards, multiple Royal Television Society awards, the Prix Italia and Prix Europa, and an International Emmy.
