Dellessa James is a Senior Artist Relations Manager at Amazon Music. In this role, Dellessa leads Amazon Music’s Black music strategy, overseeing the +44 Podcast, playlists, artist campaigns and content creation. Prior to joining Amazon, Dellessa was the executive producer of The Rap Show and Fire in the Booth, Europe’s biggest freestyle platform. During her tenure she produced freestyles from artists such as Drake, Stormzy, Megan Thee Stallion, and Wretch 32. Dellessa also spent 16 years working at BBC radio, producing shows for Trevor Nelson, Annie Mac, DJ Target, Nihal, MistaJam, Jo Whiley, Fabio and Grooverider, championing Black music across Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
