Dino Sofos is the founder and CEO of Persephonica, one of the UK’s most successful and influential podcast companies. Described by Deadline as having “a mighty impact on the British broadcasting landscape”, he has created some of the UK’s biggest podcasts, including Miss Me?, Dig It, The News Agents (Global) and Newscast (BBC).

Dino has brought some of the world’s most high-profile talent into podcasting, including Dua Lipa, Lily Allen and Emily Maitlis.

He began his career at the BBC, where he set up the BBC News Podcasts department and pioneered original formats including Brexitcast and Americast, which together amassed more than 85 million downloads during his tenure.

He is also co-founder of Crossed Wires, the world’s largest podcast festival.
