Edd Hedges is a UK-based stand-up comedian who broke onto the scene in 2013 when, at just 19, he won the prestigious “So You Think You’re Funny?” competition at the Edinburgh Fringe, becoming one of its youngest-ever winners. A few years later, back at the Fringe, Hedges performed a set detailing the most terrifying night of his life: when a murder terrorized his village. The story left audiences stunned and ultimately sparked the true crime investigation documented in the award-winning podcast Wisecrack, for which he won an Ambie for Best Scritwriting-Nonfiction. Hedges has performed at major international festivals, recently completed a Wisecrack tour across the U.S., and continues to captivate audiences with an honest, relatable, and disarmingly funny take on life’s absurdities.
