She and her team are behind the BBC’s most successful podcasts including Newscast, Americast and the multi-awarding winning narrative podcast series I’m not a monster.  As Head of BBC News Long Form Audio, Emma, and her team have pioneered a slate of viz first podcasts for BBC News including The Global Story, Fame under Fire and Top Comment to reach new audiences beyond BBC Sounds, BBC.com and RSS and produced multiple narrative podcasts including The House at Number 48, Three Million, The Coming Storm, Gangster and The Lazarus Heist.  Emma’s skill at managing partnerships both within and outside the BBC have resulted in numerous high impact projects.
