Ethan Fixell is Senior Vice President at iHeartMedia, where he leads the day-to-day operations and creative strategy for Ruby, the company’s award-winning branded content studio. At the intersection of marketing and storytelling, Ethan and his team help global brands—such as Audible, IBM, HBO, eBay, and Virgin—translate complex goals into compelling, narrative-driven podcast formats. His deep understanding of the creator ecosystem stems from his own hands-on experience; prior to his current role, Ethan ran the US operations for the international music publication Kerrang! for several years, where he also produced and hosted the interview podcast The Inside Track. Beyond the studio, Ethan is a regular columnist for Inc. magazine, for which he writes about career strategy in the age of AI. He is also a certified beverage expert and prolific writer whose work has appeared in publications such as Vanity Fair, Men's Journal, Food & Wine, and Esquire, among many others.
