Fearne Cotton
Mental health advocate, best-selling author, long-standing broadcaster and founder and creator of the Happy Place brand, Fearne Cotton has been thoughtfully curating and building her Happy Place community since 2017.
Born out of sharing her own experiences with happiness and publishing her Sunday Times and silver Nielsen bestseller Happy in 2017, the brand has evolved and translated into her award-winning podcast Happy Place (celebrating 100M downloads), in 2018, the Happy Place Festival in 2019, the books imprint Happy Place Books in 2021 and the most recent addition within the portfolio, the Happy Place app in 2022. Fearne’s recent book release Bigger Than Us, January 2023, is her fifth and most personal work to date, another Sunday Times Bestseller and further cements Fearne’s position as a celebrated author with all titles available in 12 different languages around the world.
Fearne is innately passionate about driving forward the notion of a relatable, straightforward and inclusive approach to self-care, and through her work with Happy Place, has actively opened up, encouraged and demystified the wider conversation around mental health.
Fearne is a mother of two, and step-Mother of two, and is an active supporter for a range of charities – most notably mental health charity Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Coppafeel!, the latter of which she curates the charity’s music festival, Festifeel. Fearne is a supporter of the Princess of Wales #ShapingUs early childhood campaign, aiming to raise awareness of the vital role our early years play in shaping the rest of our lives.
