Hana Baba

Host, The Stoop

Hana Baba is co-creator and co-host of The Stoop podcast, and host of Crosscurrents, at NPR station KALW Public Radio in San Francisco. Her work also appears on NPR, PRI, and BBC.  A daughter of Sudanese immigrants, Hana enjoys exploring cultural intersections, and diaspora life.

Her work has won awards from the National Association of Black Journalists, the San Francisco Press Club, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Black Podcasting Awards, the Religion News Association, and others.

Hana teaches radio journalism and podcasting, and regularly speaks at industry conferences like Third Coast, NABJ, She Podcasts, PodCon, PodThon, and TEDx.
