Imran Ahmed is the founder of Great Pods, a podcast discovery platform built on editorial transparency, bringing together professional critic reviews from publications including the New York Times, Vulture, and Variety across a database of 14,000+ podcasts. He has 15-plus years of experience in podcast and audio, including nearly eight years at TuneIn, and hosted one of the first South Asian podcast shows, interviewing comedians including Hasan Minhaj and Sugar Sammy before most people knew what a podcast was. Great Pods is backed by the University of Southern California Greif Incubator. He is also a Founders Circle member of the Podcast Professionals Association and co-organizes the SoCal Podcast Meetup.
