Jolene Dias
Ms Jolene Dias (Maria Antonia Jolene Dias) is a versatile singer, musician, and resilient entrepreneur based in London. Originally from Goa, India, she has built a career defined by her passion for performance, having trained in western classical vocals and piano from a young age. Despite being a full-time wheelchair user living with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy, she has released several singles across different languages—including Hindi, Konkani, and English—and continues to perform as a dedicated recording artist.
She is the founder and director of the Blue Ocean Waves Centre, a performing arts academy that provides music, dance, drama, and art services to people of all ages and abilities. Her leadership and artistic contributions have earned her significant recognition, such as:
• Best Performing Arts Centre in London at the 2023 SME Awards.
• Global Icon for Music and Resilience at the 2025 Globiz Awards.
Jolene is a woman with grand ambitions; she openly aspires to be a superstar and is driven by a desire to be in the spotlight, using her platform to inspire others through her music. Currently, she is focused on the next chapter of her business and is actively looking for permanent premises for her company to provide a lasting home for the diverse community of artists she supports.
