Joshua Ryan is an award-winning multimedia exec producer, responsible for producing a number of ground-breaking podcast titles for 1Xtra and BBC Sounds including: 3 Shots on 1Xtra, Dope Black Dads, Galdem Sugar, Brave Conversations and Slide Into My Podcast - as well as, This Is Spoke for Penguin Random House and Fremantle. With over a decade’s worth of experience producing radio at the Beeb under his belt, and a handful of TV shows in his pocket, all of Josh’s energy is now in his new venture Silver Music Entertainment, a full-service music entertainment company with a production arm. Josh is also a regular contributor & panel host on A New Direction’s Creativity Works: Podcasting & Audio Production courses and a regular mentor. Josh is currently partnering with A New Direction on an Audio Accelerator Bootcamp programme to upskill some alumni to become part of BBC Radio1Xtra’s freelance Content Assistant Pool.
