Louisa McDonald
Since joining the company in 2015, she has grown the talent roster substantially and discovered some of the UK’s most exciting new talent. Louisa also manages the Money’s Podcast slate and live tours.
She started her career in production, working at the BBC for 12 years on shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Top Gear and The Weakest Link, before going freelance and working for Thames on shows such as Family Fortunes.
Whilst at the BBC Louisa worked across all of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical theatre talent search shows and was tasked with auditioning and discovering contestants for the live shows.
Her many years on Strictly Come Dancing saw her oversee the professional dancers for the show, find up and coming dancers for future series and produce the dancers throughout the series. A similar role on So You Think You Can Dance? also expanded into creative production of dance routines for the live shows.
From discovering some of the UK’s best-known musical theatre names on shows such as How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and I’d Do Anything to booking talent for celebrity series of the Weakest Link, after 15 years in production Louisa moved into talent management.
