Mark Strippel is a consultant and senior media executive. His current clients include BBC Radio 4 as festival lead for Crossed Wires Festival, Big Deal Films, and he recently launched the BBC Academy's Future of Podcast conference.
Mark was formerly the Head of BBC platforms 1Xtra and Asian Network during a period of record audiences, signing talents including Big Zuu, Maya Jama, Kenny Allstar, and Snoochie Shy. He has since worked for Sony Music, BBC Sounds, Content London, and gaming studio Dubit. He started out in Commercial Law with Simmons & Simmons before joining the launch team of BBC 1Xtra as a presenter with Panjabi Hit Squad.
