Marta is a reporter covering influencers and the creator economy for Business Insider. She regularly reports on YouTube's short-form video offer, YouTube Shorts, how to build a career working for YouTubers, and creator-economy startups. She has also covered how creators build lucrative businesses on OnlyFans, and on the rise of UGC, or user-generated content, as a form of advertisement. She graduated with a Master's degree at the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism in 2021, and worked as a reporting fellow at nonprofit newsroom Coda Story.
