Nicky Anderson

Head of Narrative , Stak

Nicky is a multiple award-winning narrative producer and Stak’s Head of Narrative, named on the UK Audio Academy’s 30 Under 30 list for 2025. She leads the development of long-form sports storytelling at Stak, creating and shaping podcast documentaries and narrative-driven series focused on human stories in sport.

She hosts and produces Stak’s Legacy series, including Defiant (Season Four), Dancing with Shadows (Season Three), and The English Disease (Season Two).
Her work includes The English Disease, which won Podcast of the Year at the 2024 Sports Journalists’ Association Awards, and Dancing with Shadows, which won Best Documentary and Best Sports Documentary at the 2025 New York City Podcast Awards. Nicky is also the creator and host of the bi-weekly video and audio show Legacy: Spotlight, focused on short-form sports storytelling to compliment Stak’s long form Legacy series.
