Paul Stanworth is Commissioning Editor for Podcasts at Sky News, where he oversees a portfolio including Electoral Dysfunction with Beth Rigby and The Wargame.

He commissioned Unreliable Witness, winner of Gold at the New York Festivals Radio Awards, and leads Sky’s podcast partnership with Politico on Politics At Sam and Anne’s.

Since joining Sky News in 2022, he has played a key role in evolving its podcast strategy and growing its audience, with a focus on talent-led content.

With more than 20 years’ experience in audio, he’s also worked in senior roles for the BBC’s Newsbeat and Radio 5live.

At Newsbeat, he managed a number of reporters who’ve gone on to be correspondents in the UK and abroad.
