Ryan Rummery
Ryan Rummery is a global sales leader at Spotify, where he leads international podcast advertising. He joined Spotify in December 2023 to drive podcast growth and expansion across EMEA and JAPAC, helping brands, agencies, and creators unlock the commercial potential of the medium. With more than 20 years in advertising and media - including 15 years in sales leadership - Ryan brings deep experience across the publisher and digital ecosystem. Prior to Spotify, he held senior roles at Financial Times and The Telegraph, and most recently at Global, where as Commercial Director he helped launch Digital Audio Exchange (DAX) and led the digital audio and podcast sales strategy.
Ryan works at the intersection of advertisers, publishers, and creators, helping brands connect with audiences through one of the fastest-growing media channels. He is particularly passionate about the unique relationship between podcast hosts and their audiences, and turning that trust into scalable partnerships through creator collaboration, data insights, and emerging formats such as video, social, and live experiences.
