Simon Myciunka is President of Audio at Bauer Media Group and CEO of Bauer Media Audio UK, responsible for leading one of Europe’s largest and most influential audio businesses. He has built his career around driving growth in fast-moving and evolving media organisations, with a strong focus on audio, direct-to-consumer competition models, transformation, and technology.

Simon joined Communicorp Media in 2017, which was later acquired by Bauer Media Group, and quickly became a key leader within the business. He has held senior roles leading both the Irish and UK operations, overseeing periods of significant change, growth, and integration. In 2023, he was appointed CEO of Audio UK, and in 2026, he took on the expanded role of President of Audio at Bauer Media Group, reflecting his deep expertise and strategic leadership across markets.

Throughout his career, Simon has been passionate about harnessing innovation and digital capability to deliver meaningful transformation. He is focused on strengthening audience engagement, optimising digital platforms, and unlocking new commercial opportunities across audio, while ensuring Bauer Media Audio remains competitive and future-ready in an increasingly digital and on-demand landscape.

Prior to joining Bauer Media, Simon developed extensive knowledge of the audio and media sector through roles at Global, Celador Radio, and Radiocentre Ireland. He began his career as Sales & Marketing Manager at Wolf Consultancy, building a strong foundation in commercial strategy and audience-led growth.

Simon is a graduate of Northumbria University, where he earned a degree in Marketing Management, and he also holds a Diploma from the Institute of Directors. Today, he is focused on leading Bauer Media Audio into its next chapter - accelerating innovation, driving digital excellence, and developing sustainable growth and success across all Audio markets.
