Tom Bett
Tom Bett began his career as a radio plugger while simultaneously working as a technical operator at Classic FM. Driven by a passion for audio storytelling, he went on to complete a Master’s degree in Radio Production, laying the foundation for a dynamic career in the industry. He spent six years at the independent production company Listen, where he developed and refined his skills in content creation and production. Following a brief but impactful period at the BBC, Tom returned to Listen with a broader perspective and a more defined creative vision. In 2021, he joined the Roundhouse, where he played a key role in revitalising Transmission Roundhouse in the wake of the pandemic. Under his leadership, it has grown into a thriving hub for young audio producers, a space where emerging talent is nurtured and meaningful pathways into the industry are built, helping to shape the next generation of audio storytellers.
In 2026, Tom expanded his work into publishing with the release of his first book, Beginners Podcasting 101, offering practical guidance and insights for aspiring podcaster
