Tom began his career as a radio plugger while simultaneously working as a tech op at Classic FM. With a passion for audio storytelling, he pursued a Master’s degree in Radio Production, which paved the way for a dynamic career in the industry. He spent six years at the independent production company Listen, honing his skills in content creation and production. After a brief but impactful tenure at the BBC, Tom returned to Listen, bringing with them a wealth of experience and a refined creative vision. In 2021, he joined the Roundhouse, where he played a pivotal role in revitalising Transmission Roundhouse in the aftermath of the pandemic. Under his leadership, Transmission Roundhouse has become a thriving home for young audio producers, a place where new talent is cultivated and strong pathways into the industry are established, helping to shape the next generation of audio storytellers.
