UnJu Paik is the Head of Global Business Affairs, Licensing & Distribution of Wondery, which became a subsidiary of Amazon Music in 2021. Launched in 2016, and known for its immersive podcasts, Wondery became the fastest network to join the Top 10 ranker by Podtrac, propelled by hit shows like Dr Death, Dirty John, American History Tellers, Business Wars, The Shrink Next Door and Joe Exotic. To date, over fifty of Wondery’s shows have reached # 1 on the Apple Podcasts Charts. UnJu leads the GOLD Team which works on deals with Podcast creators on Wondery shows as well as licenses content from Podcast creators for distribution and other franchise opportunities across Amazon. Prior to joining Wondery, UnJu was Executive Vice President of 21 st  Century Fox heading the intellectual property group of 21CF during its historical merger with The Walt Disney Company. During her 24-year tenure at Fox, UnJu also ran the legal department of Twentieth Century Fox Television which produced shows such as Simpsons, Family Guy, Modern Family and This is Us. UnJu started her legal career at Fox in the home entertainment department managing worldwide licensing and operations. Born in South Korea, UnJu grew up in Los Angeles and went to college at Pomona College in Claremont and then moved to New York where she obtained an JD from Cornell University. Today she lives in Los Angeles with her family.
