Talking Podcasts ‘Creator 1’
Postponed launches, cancelled projects, layoffs… 2023 has been a tough year for podcasting. But that’s not the whole story. Cup & Nuzzle, the most upbeat production company in the land, finds the positives with the help of pop-star-turned-Twitter-star-turned-podcaster Tim Burgess, BBC commissioner Louise Kattenhorn, Producer and Foundation FM founder Frankie Wells and WME talent agent Alex Bewley. Cup & Nuzzle co-founder Matt Everitt chairs the chipper chat.
Cup & Nuzzle is a creative studio that makes high-quality audio series. Recent projects include the hugely popular weekly espionage show True Spies, the Apple chart-topping Joanna Lumley & The Maestro, Audible’s multi-part documentary 93 Women, and BBC music documentaries including Arctic Monkeys: Believe The Hype and the ARIA-nominated Techno: A Social History.
They have also produced the wildly successful Table Manners with Jessie Ware, The Line-Up With Shaun Keaveny, The Great James Bond Car Robbery; Listen Up - The Oasis Podcast, and ‘Bowie 75’, an audio and video project for the David Bowie Estate celebrating his 75th birthday.
