Anthony Baxter is a BAFTA-winning director, renowned for his “masterful” (PBS) capturing of a diverse range of documentary subjects and styles. His portfolio encompasses hard-hitting exposés that fearlessly confront some of the world's most influential figures, as well as intimate portrayals of communities facing crises, and poignant portraits of artists navigating personal challenges, such as the loss of sight.

His body of work includes critically acclaimed feature documentaries such as You've Been Trumped and its sequel You've Been Trumped Too, which earned the admiration of renowned figures like Michael Moore, Roger Ebert, and Stephen Holden of The New York Times.  Holden specifically praised Baxter's refusal to back down, showcasing his unwavering commitment to holding the future US President accountable.  Baxter's visually stunning Eye of the Storm explores the life of one of Scotland's greatest landscape painters, while FLINT: Who Can You Trust? provides an unflinching examination of one of the most devastating man-made disasters in American history, with The Guardian describing it as ‘monumental’.  Additionally, his documentary A Dangerous Game delves into the far-reaching ecological and social implications of luxury resorts worldwide.

Anthony Baxter’s latest projects include a new investigative podcast series on Donald Trump for BBC Sounds titled Trumped and a forthcoming feature documentary on one of Scotland’s most iconic bands.
