Anna Sinfield is the multi award-winning journalist and creator behind iHeart’s global no.1 hit podcast, The Girlfriends. For over a decade Anna has reported on stories of extraordinary women who have fought back against injustice - or simply, done very cool things. Anna has met and interviewed countless inspiring people, from women who’ve been wrongfully convicted and life-risking activists to those who’ve escaped cults. Her work combines a highly empathetic approach to interviewing, with razor sharp writing and a musician’s ear for emotional resonance. In 2025 Anna officially became The Girlfriends lead host and guiding star, introducing listeners around the world to new Girlfriends and their shocking and inspiring stories. Before launching The Girlfriends in 2023 Anna co-produced and wrote a series called Stolen Hearts (Wondery), which hit no.1 in the US and topped the true crime charts in the UK. Stolen Hearts has also been optioned for TV.
