Anne Janssens is a seasoned podcasting professional and media strategist with a strong background in content creation, editorial leadership, and digital media. As a Senior Commissioning Editor & Podcaster at Podimo, he plays a key role in shaping the Dutch podcast landscape following Podimo’s acquisition of Dag en Nacht Media, the pioneering Dutch-language podcast production company he founded. Under his leadership, Dag en Nacht grew into a network of over 60 award-winning podcasts, amassing more than 6 million monthly streams. Anne is also an active member of the podcast funding landscape, serving as a Board Member for both the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and the NPO Fonds, where he helps commission and support innovative podcast projects. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles in media and communications, including at GroenLinks, Vrij Nederland, Runner’s World, KNVB, and ScienceGuide.

His work has consistently blended storytelling, digital strategy, and audience engagement, with a track record of success in social media, editorial management, and podcasting. His contributions to the podcasting industry have been widely recognized, earning multiple Lovie Awards, Podcast Awards, and Dutch Creativity Awards for projects like "Alle Geschiedenis Ooit,” "Below the Radar Above Yourself," and "Universiteit van Nederland." Anne is also the co-host of "Ik Ken Iemand Die," a long-running podcast on parenting and life, as well as co-host of the popular Dutch podcast "Reality Check.”
