Bjorn Wentlandt is an agent in the Comedy Touring Department of leading talent and entertainment company, United Talent Agency (UTA). 

Wentlandt joined the company in 2018 and works with a notable client roster that includes the podcast, “My Dad Wrote a Porno,” as well as Russell Peters, Steven Bartlett, The 2 Johnnies,  Dan and Phil, Hannah Gadsby, and Jim Jefferies. 

Prior to joining UTA, Wentlandt was Avalon’s Director of Promotions where he spearheaded the live international booking and promoting of clients like John Oliver, Russell Howard and Marc Maron. As part of his role, Wentlandt also produced and managed various critically acclaimed theatrical projects including the Olivier Award-nominated “David Baddiel: My Family not the Sitcom.”

In 2007, Wentlandt joined MacDonald-Murray Management as a Talent Manager to actors and comedians. At the firm, he founded and led its New York office and successfully developed the careers of clients such as Joe DeRosa, Ron White and Jim Gaffigan. 

Wentlandt began his career as a Talent Buyer and Director of Comedy Touring for Live Nation, where he played a key role in promoting the live work of artists including Lewis Black, Kathy Griffin, George Carlin, Demetri Martin, Zach Galifianakis and Brian Regan. On the festival side, he has promoted events such as Dave Chappelle’s “Blockparty” tour and Opie and Anthony’s “Traveling Virus.”
