Caroline is an award-winning Journalist, Broadcaster and Podcast Producer.  

Caroline began her career 25 years ago in local and regional newspapers. She covered courts, councils and breaking news across the North West before joining the BBC as a producer for BBC Radio 5 live based in London. After producing the award-winning Breakfast Programme with Nicky Campbell and Victoria Derbyshire, she became the station’s Investigative Reporter. She then moved back to Manchester to be the Network Radio Correspondent for Radio 4 and 5 live, where she covered the biggest stories across the North of England. 

Since 2022 Caroline has been the co-host, writer and producer of the award winning 'The Trial' Podcast, the first in the UK to follow a criminal trial week by week. Now in its fourth season, the podcast has been listened to more than 26 million times.
