Chloe Hadjimatheou is Narrative Editor at The Observer. She is an award winning investigative journalist who produced and presented the hugely successful Tortoise Investigates podcasts Lucky Boy and The Gas Man, as well the BBC Intrigue podcast series Mayday and Burning Sun.  Chloe has investigated stories in Greece, the Middle East, the USA, spending time in the BBC’s overseas bureaux in Washington DC, Jerusalem and Cairo. In 2021 Chloe was shortlisted for journalism’s most prestigious award, the Orwell Prize.
