Georgia Catt is a multi-award winning audio producer with the BBC specialising in narrative, investigative audio and podcast series. She created and produced The Missing Cryptoqueen, a real-time investigation into a multi-billion dollar fake cryptocurrency and its missing founder Dr Ruja Ignatova, and was the producer of Burn Wild, a story of two fugitive environmentalists, a so-called ‘eco-terrorist’ cell and a burning question: How far is too far to go to save the planet? Credits also include producing Two Minutes Past Nine, which investigated links between the Oklahoma City Bombing and the far right in America in the run up to the 2020 election and 2021 Capitol riots; and The Untold: Missing. Georgia started in production answering the phones for her local radio station in 2006. She worked as a freelance producer/reporter from Laos in 2012 where she first began pitching and making audio documentaries. She joined the BBC as a production management assistant in Birmingham in 2012 and is currently a producer with the BBC Audio Documentaries Unit.
