Jon Manel is the podcast commissioning editor at the BBC World Service and one of the commissioners for BBC Sounds. His multi-award-winning commissions include Love Janessa, Dear Daughter, 13 Minutes to the Moon and Death in Ice Valley. He is responsible for the BBC’s new investigations podcast, World of Secrets. Jon was previously a BBC investigative reporter for many years, presented and created the multi-award winning The Adoption and reported from inside the US detention camp in Guantanamo Bay.
