Kara Welker is an Executive Producer at Imagine Entertainment, where she works across film, television, documentary, and branded content. She played a key role in launching Imagine Audio, securing a landmark 12-show deal with iHeartMedia, and previously served as President of the company’s talent division, expanding its creative reach with top-tier talent.

She is also a founding partner at Oddarts Media, a production company developing innovative, genre-blending content tailored for the next generation of audiences. With a focus on Gen Z’s unique media habits—social video, gaming, and platform-hopping—Oddarts is built to serve today’s “entertainment omnivores.”

A pioneer in digital-era storytelling, Kara co-founded Generate, one of the first studios to bridge traditional and online entertainment, later acquired by Alloy in 2012. Over her career, she has managed and developed the careers of some of the most influential voices in comedy, film, and television.

Kara’s roots in comedy run deep. She began her career managing talent at Messina Baker and 3 Arts, then co-founded The Rath-Welker Company with Dave Rath. Together, they launched groundbreaking projects like Wonder Showzen, The Andy Milonakis Show, and Comedians of Comedy.

She has produced over 40 stand-up specials, featuring Judd Apatow, Patton Oswalt, Pete Holmes, Janeane Garofalo, Brett Gelman, and Anjelah Johnson, with credits across HBO, Comedy Central, Hulu, and Peacock.

Additional producing credits include Great Minds with Dan Harmon, Whitest Kids U’ Know, Black and White, Failosophy, and Mars, an animated feature from Zach Cregger and Sam Brown.
