Karima Kouah
Karima Kouah is a senior BBC journalist and audio strategist with an extensive experience in news programming and podcasting. Since joining the BBC in 2006, she has hosted flagship programmes such as BBC Xtra on BBC Arabic Radio and led editorial teams covering key regions across North Africa and the Gulf.
In 2021, she co-produced and hosted Morahakati , a groundbreaking storytelling podcast where 10 young Arabs spoke openly about their struggles with mental health. The series broke taboos, created space for difficult conversations, and resonated widely with young audiences across the region.
