Kirsty Young is one of the UK’s most respected broadcasters. She currently hosts the podcast Young Again for the BBC where she interviews fascinating and high-profile figures, exploring the question: "If you knew then what you know now, what advice would you give your younger self?" Kirsty presented the iconic Desert Island Discs on Radio 4 for over a decade, interviewing guests from Prime Minister Theresa May to Bruce Springsteen. After stepping down in 2018 due to fibromyalgia, she returned to broadcasting in 2022 to anchor coverage for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Kirsty has since presented major BBC events, including the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of The King and Queen Camilla. She was UNICEF UK’s President from 2016 to 2018.
