She also played a key role in developing the inaugural BBC Sounds Audio Lab, (now in it's fourth year) an accelerator programme that commissions innovative podcasts from emerging creators, particularly from underrepresented backgrounds, helping to open doors and transform the commissioning landscape.
Beyond her work behind the scenes, Leanne is the host and creator of the multi-award-winning podcast Coiled, a documentary series exploring Black hair, identity, and culture. She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion within the audio industry, with a mission to amplify new voices and create space for authentic storytelling.
