
Leona Fensome
Leona Fensome is a creative director and oral historian who runs an independent audio production company, Inkslingers Media. She develops audio projects that create podcasts and radio programmes from oral history archives and community stories.
Recently, she led the production for the Audio Content Fund series, Tape Letters, a six-part documentary series of British-Pakistani migration stories. Since the lockdown, Leona has co-produced several national oral history collections with a focus on reimagining community engagement with local and national history by using creative media.
Having worked in senior management or consultancy roles over the last fifteen years, Leona is a board member of AudioUK and judges the Community Radio Awards, APAs and ARIAs.
