VP of Growth and Marketing, Lemonada

Lizzie Breyer Bowman is the VP of growth and marketing at Lemonada Media, where she leads the marketing function for the full slate of nearly 40 podcasts. Lemonada is a fast-growing, woman-led startup with the mission to make life suck less. Before joining Lemonada in October 2021, Lizzie served as managing director for national marketing and marketing capabilities at American Public Media. In that role, she was responsible for marketing for all of APM’s national radio and podcast programs. Lizzie also has worked as an independent marketing consultant, working with clients ranging from large CPG companies to early-stage startups, and she spent almost 8 years at General Mills in brand management and marketing. She holds an MBA from the University of Virginia and a BA in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her pre-MBA career was spent in journalism, at newspapers such as The New York Times and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

For the past 10 years, Lizzie has served as the co-chair of the Minneapolis board for No Kid Hungry, the largest national non-profit dedicated to ending childhood hunger, and in 2021, she joined the board for Minnestar, the Minnesota-based nonprofit that exists to build, nurture and engage those interested in technology through meaningful connection. She has a passion for creating greater equity and access to the most important building blocks for future success: food, shelter, education, and technology.
