Madison Marriage is the special investigations editor at the FT, where she oversees a small team pursuing stories about abuse of power and injustice, spanning areas including the corporate world, government, the arts and charities.

She has worked at the FT for 13 years covering a range of beats including accounting and asset management. She has received several awards for her work, including from the London Press Club, British Press Awards and British Journalism Awards. 

Her podcast series The Retreat, released in 2024, investigated the world of the Goenka network, which promotes a type of intensive meditation known as Vipassana.

It received the 'listeners choice award' in the health and wellness category at the prestigious Signal Awards, and was awarded 'bronze' by the judges of that category.
