Max Cutler is a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur and the Founder of PAVE Studios, a
next-generation global media company built to create and scale creator-led IP across video,
audio, books, and live experiences.
PAVE’s genre-specific brands, including Crime House and OpenMind — which produces Khloé
Kardashian’s video series Khloé in Wonder Land — are built to launch fresh, creator-led content
across every format. PAVE also owns and operates premium IP, with new series such as Clues
with Morgan Absher and Kaelyn Moore showcasing the next wave of video-first content,
alongside their chart-topping hits like Murder True Crime Stories.
Prior to launching PAVE, Cutler served as VP, Head of Talk Creator Content & Partnerships at
Spotify, where he served as both executive and producer, overseeing creators including Joe
Rogan, Alex Cooper, Ashley Flowers, Dax Shepard, and Emma Chamberlain. He also led
efforts to make Spotify the leading platform for creators by expanding creator tools for audience
growth and interaction, as well as accelerating their move into video podcasting.
Max was an early pioneer in the podcast industry when he founded Parcast, one of the most
successful studios of its time, creating hit podcasts that remain chart-toppers to this day,
including Conspiracy Theories and Serial Killers, which debuted as video podcasts on Netflix
this year. Cutler rapidly propelled Parcast Studios to international acclaim, leading to its
acquisition by Spotify in an unprecedented $100M+ deal in 2019.
Cutler has been recognized by numerous industry publications such as Fortune’s 40 Under 40,
Forbes 30 Under 30, and The Hollywood Reporter’s 35 Rising Executives Under 35 and Most
Powerful People in Podcasting.
