Rosie Blau
Rosie Blau co-hosts The Economist’s daily podcast “The Intelligence”, and is a senior editor in the audio department. Previously, she was editor of 1843 magazine, The Economist’s magazine of long-form narrative journalism. Rosie joined The Economist in May 2011 as a reporter on the Britain section, where she covered energy, transport and a range of other areas. She was then seconded to 1843 magazine’s predecessor, Intelligent Life, as Associate Editor. From 2014-17 she was China correspondent, based in Beijing. Prior to joining The Economist she worked at the Financial Times. Her jobs there included books editor, lead writer and assistant world news editor. Rosie served as a judge for the Man Booker Prize for Fiction in 2010.
