Ross Adams is CEO of Acast, the world’s leading independent podcast company. He has driven Acast’s advertiser, podcaster and product-first mission which has attracted tens of thousands of podcasters to Acast - including household names, major publishers and a whole range of interesting and diverse voices. Collectively they generate over 430 million monthly listens, and attract thousands of advertisers big and small, from every type of brand and organisation. Under his leadership, Acast has paid out nearly £200 million to podcasters. A former Spotify executive - where he helped launch the then-startup in 2008, he was later tasked with expanding Spotify’s international operations, growing the business across 59 markets and building multi-million dollar revenue streams. He founded Acast UK in 2015 before becoming CEO of the business globally in 2017.
