Ross Adams is CEO of Acast, the world’s leading independent podcast company. He has driven Acast’s creator-first mission which has attracted, as of 2022, over 35,000 podcasters - including household names, major publishers and a whole range of interesting and diverse voices. Collectively they generate over 300 million monthly listens and attract advertisers big and small from every type of brand and organisation. Under his leadership, Acast has paid out over £80 million to podcasters. A former Spotify executive - where he helped launch the then-startup in 2008, he was later tasked with expanding Spotify’s international operations, growing the business across 59 markets and building multi-million dollar revenue streams. He founded Acast UK in 2014 before becoming CEO of the business globally in 2017.
