VP Content,
Pushkin Industries
Sara Nics is an editor, producer, and all-around audio wrangler with more than 20 years of experience bringing stories to life and teams to their creative potential. As Vice President of Content at Pushkin Industries—home to Revisionist History, Happiness Lab, Cautionary Tales, and other hit podcasts—she leads the production team, shapes the network's editorial voice, and helps dream up what’s next. Before that, she was Executive Editor at Transmitter Media; her earlier career path winds through The New Yorker Radio Hour, WNYC, Radio Netherlands, CBC, and more. She's covered everything from Antarctic explorers, cocaine super-cartels, ecstatic creativity, and the magic of Mr. Rogers. She’s taught Pulitzer winners how to tell audio stories, trained journalists on three continents, and once reported from a sinking island in the midst of a tropical storm.
