Tomini is Social Media Manager at the Observer and the voice of the daily Sensemaker, one of the newsroom’s flagship podcasts. She started in 2021 as an intern and has since played a key role in shaping the organisation’s digital presence across platforms. As video has become an increasingly integral part of the podcasting landscape, she has helped spearhead strategies to translate  Observer podcasts for visual platforms – ranging from conversational shows like The News Meeting to long-form investigations such as The Slow Newscast. With a keen focus on how video can elevate podcast storytelling, Tomini brings both strategic insight and creative flair to the world of social and audio.
