Valentina Kaledina is an expert at podcast and media growth and monetisation; currently she is Head of Sales and Business Development at Castbox.

Valentina started her career as a journalist working for various media outlets including AFP in Paris, followed by 7+ years as a Partner at Strikitsa Consulting, where she was a management and executive search consultant. After obtaining her MBA from CEIBS business school in Shanghai in 2019, Valentina joined Castbox, which is one of the largest independent podcast apps, to help drive growth for the company. Currently, Valentina is based in London and heading Castbox' business development, sales and podcasters relations globally. In 2022 - 2024, Valentina served as a Board Member of The Podcast Academy, which is the biggest professional organisation for podcasters, originated in the US. Valentina is passionate about narrative, business and politics podcasts and is a big fan of everything that helps creators to monetize their content. 

In her free time, Valentina is a figure skating nerd and an adult skater herself.
