This session will delve into the world of podcasting across the charity and social responsibility sector. The panel will be hosted by Aunt Nell and feature two of the stakeholders we have made podcasts in partnership with, CEO of Switchboard (The Log Books) and Heritage Manager at Inquest (Unlawful Killing). The panel will look at both sides of the relationship between a stakeholder and a podcast production company. Collectively we will discuss the power of messaging through podcasts as a communications tool, extending the work of the charity through this unique communication channel, looking at why and when to use a podcast. Pointers around what’s important to prioritise when working with a third-sector stakeholder and/or production company. At the end of this session, the audience will feel able to start thinking about how to pitch a podcast to varying stakeholders, from brands to charities, but also understand what must be prioritised as part of the process to result in not only a great podcast but a strong tool for messaging that can continue to live on in its own right.
