The Origin StageHanding your brand to a creator can feel risky. When reputation matters, giving up control is rarely comfortable. But what if that discomfort is exactly where the magic happens?
New research from Global Studios shows that video podcast hosts are the most-trusted voice in media for younger audiences – and that’s a helpful place for your brand to be.
In this session, you’ll discover why trusting creators more can deliver far stronger results for brands targeting Gen Z. Drawing on brand-new research from Global Studios, the panel will explore how creator-led partnerships cut through tired stereotypes, connect with audiences more authentically, and build genuine brand love in the spaces fans already know and trust.
Hear from Joe Copeman (Director, Commercial, Global Studios), iHeartPodcast’s Ethan Fixell (SVP, Branded Content) alongside The Fellas Studios’ Calfreezy (The Fellas) and Joe Baggs (Not My Bagg) in a chat with Sarah Ray (Commercial Director, Global Studios) as they reveal what really makes creator-brand collaborations work – and why letting creators shape the story could be the smartest brand move you make.Presented by:

The Origin StageFrom Global Studios; Director of Podcasts Vicky Etchells speaks with News Agents Emily Maitlis, Lewis Goodall and editor Tom Hughes as they take to the stage for a lively, revealing conversation about why audiences are more engaged with news than ever. They’ll discuss how podcasting has transformed the way stories are told, and why video is taking that relationship to another level.
This session will go behind the scenes of how The News Agents responds when the world changes in real time, what makes a story feel big enough to demand an instant episode, how the team balances rigour with personality, and why audiences now want smart journalism delivered with clarity, chemistry and point of view.
It will also explore the growing power of podcasts as video shows, how audience appetite is expanding across YouTube, social and on demand platforms, and why news, far from losing relevance, has rarely felt more immediate, more shared or more culturally alive.
Expect sharp analysis, candid stories from behind the mic, reflections on the moments that changed the news cycle, and a few teases about what is coming next.Presented by:

The Origin Stage
Podcasting was built around episodes, feeds, real-life hosts, and audiences. AI may change all of that, and fast.
Jeanine Wright of Inception Point AI - the company making AI-generated personalities and content with a podcast network of more than 11,000 active podcast shows (not episodes!) - and Nicky Birch, the person leading AI in audio efforts for BBC, join Katie Prescott of The Times for a forward-looking conversation about where AI is taking audio next. Are autonomous podcasters coming and, if so, when? Is the BBC's responsibility to be human at all costs? Is AI generated content any good? Are people actually consuming it?
As synthetic voices, adaptive storytelling, agentic production tools and personalised listening experiences move from experiment to reality, audio is entering a new phase. Shows may become dynamic instead of fixed. Listeners may get versions shaped to their interests, context or language. Creators may build worlds, formats and characters that were impossible to produce at traditional scale. And media organisations will need to decide what still makes audio trustworthy, human and worth returning to.
The panel will explore what happens when production becomes increasingly automated, voices become programmable, and storytelling becomes more responsive, personalised and global.
This session is for anyone who wants to understand not just how AI is changing podcast workflows, but how it may redefine the very format, principles, economics and audience experience of audio itself.
